Diary of a Shattered Mother: CACI – Nelson’s Scarlet Brand of Shame
CACI is a life sentence for parents with ZERO chance to free from the stigma

Dear Diary,
I am drowning in tears that will not stop—hot, bitter, endless. CACI. Child Abuse Central Index. The name is a curse, a permanent scar seared into our lives by Crystal Nelson—the SW who smirked as she stole our daughter. How can one woman’s pen destroy a family forever?
Days after the abduction—June 2024, our baby still hugging me and showing her newborn baby birds in my nightmares—Nelson threw us onto CACI. “Substantiated neglect and abuse,” “non-affirming”—fabricated lies from white gown satan Sager’s poison report. No evidence. No hearing. No chance to defend. Just her signature, her malice, her power.
The CACI notification—a humiliating yellow colored “restricted delivery” envelope—wandered the country for nearly a month, arriving like a death sentence the day before a government holiday. Almost no time to grieve, let alone fight. I ran to the nearest USPS office, paid $65 in shaking hands, begged them to rush it before closure. We met the deadline by minutes.
We begged for a grievance hearing—dozens of times, attorneys on knees, forms JV-150 filed, experts screaming innocence. Shasta CPS NEVER granted it. CPS county council Charles Pullen’s empty words: “Notified DOJ—that’s where it goes.” Nothing. Judge Molly Bigelow disavowed responsibility—”I had nothing to do with it!”—but she did. She accepted Nelson’s “substantiated” petitions, rubber-stamped Mandy Moore’s, Jennifer Szephegyi’s and Nikki Quintana’s “culturally unfit,” used them to justify detention, alienation, Shannon Anderson’s forced adoption. All on her. All on CPS.
Hardly anyone escapes CACI—once listed, you’re branded for life. CPS can raid a birthing home, take a newborn from a mother with an open case or CACI stain—’good parent or bad, doesn’t matter’, said My friend momma bear—her daughter transitioned in school, CPS sniffed but never took—she lucked out. Unlike us. Dad—if God forbid he loses his job—won’t pass security clearance with CACI stigma. Careers crushed, futures chained.
CACI is a life sentence without trial—shared with employers, landlords, schools, immigration. Jobs lost. Housing denied. Visas crushed. Stigma that never washes off. Our daughter pays—zombied, scarred, alienated—while we rot branded “abusers.”
Nelson knew we were isolated—no family, no allies. She chose us for the kill in her usual gestapo style. Heart hemorrhages—will I ever clear our name, hold her unscarred? God, expose CACI’s cruelty, Nelson’s lies. DOJ, raid the index, free the innocent.
